Rustic or elegant, it is hard to beat the charm of a farm wedding ceremony. Living in the south, there are endless venue options to accommodate you and your guests.
When scoping out your fab farm venue, be sure to check for the following:
- adequate parking
- shelter, just in case of rain
- restrooms and changing areas
- electricity hook-up
- tables and chairs
- wheelchair accessibility
- maximum guest policy
If you’ve found your dream location, but there are no restrooms available onsite, consider a portable restroom company.
Kennedy Portable Toilets and Roll-offs is a family-owned and operated business out of Woodlawn, Tennessee, that offers luxury restroom trailers.
When planning your farm wedding, think about including these farm fundamentals for flair:
- hay bales can be for seating or decorating
- lace, lace, and more lace
- barn, for the ceremony, reception or pictures
- Mason jars for floral arrangements and/or cold drinks
- homemade pies along with a small wedding cake
- wildflowers, in season wildflowers are great for bouquets or decorating
- cowboy and cowgirl boots, if you’re going casual
- wagons for food and/or the cake display
Farm charm is a simple and beautiful way to have your ceremony. Local wedding planners can make it as rustic or regal as you’d like.
